Who We Are?

Presence Fest, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2023 in the Scotlandville community of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Our mission is to empower artists, makers, and entrepreneurs from under-resourced communities so they can grow their craft, build businesses that last, and strengthen the communities they come from. We do this through training, mentorship, and opportunities to present and sell their work, including a localized annual arts festival and exhibition, vendor scholarships through the Presence Initiative, and founder training.

Our goal is to show creatives the value of their work and what it can influence. As each artist gains skill, income, and confidence, that growth carries into their neighborhoods, and by extension, the global community.

Our current programs are our annual arts festival and exhibition, vendor scholarships through the Presence Initiative, and founder training.

Contributions to Presence Fest, Inc. (EIN 92-1829199) are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
